Switching Gears

In the next few days I'm going to be starting a new project. No, the WIP is not in danger of being shelved. I have a self-imposed deadline, remember?

H. Jackson Brown has written a series of "little instruction books" about life, parenting, etc. In his "P.S. I Love You", which is a collection of post-scripts written by his mother in her numerous letters to him and his siblings, there is this quote:

"Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is."

So, I'm going after the fruit.

The Plan: Once a week I will post either an interview with one of my fellow writers or ask a "guest blogger" - writers, readers, fans, and other folks who love books as much as I do - to post words of wit and wisdom of their own.

We're planning to begin this new venture on Monday with my best writer friend, J.T. Ellison - we haven't quite decided if we're going to do an interview or a guest blog spot, but either way it promises to be great.

Music of the Moment: Symphony No. 3 (Eroica), Ludwig van Beethoven

Read a book. It's good for you.

=) JB
