Easter Blessings

"'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!' (Luke 24:5b-6a)"

For those of you who celebrate this joyous holiday, I hope you've had a blessed Easter; for those of other faiths, blessings upon you as well.

If I were ever asked to "classify" myself, my answer would be six nouns: Christian, wife, Mom, daughter, sister, writer. In that order. You can read all about my philosophy on the subject on my website (see my personal note at the bottom of the page). I normally don't like to get in people's faces about my faith, just as I don't like other people to get in my face about theirs. I am who God made me, plain and simple. You don't like it, I'm sorry you feel that way.

Okay, I'll step down off my soapbox now.

Yesterday was a fun, albeit long, day. The Tall One's basketball team won 1, lost 2 (2-2 for the weekend), and we got home a little after midnight. I took my book bag, along with notes and pages for the WIP, and spent a lovely hour and a half in the cafe at Borders. I know, I said it was dangerous for me to go into a bookstore. But I was good - the only thing I bought was a Coke. Got a little work done on the pages. Forgot it was one of the more ... ahem, risque ... scenes in the book, though, and was glad no one could read over my shoulder!

Tomorrow I get back on track with the agent search and finishing this book.

I'll write, you read.

=) JB
