The Last Road Trip

The folks rolled in late last night with The Tall One and Little Bit in tow. Today we're regrouping, getting ready for our final road trip of the summer, to the last basketball exposure tournament. Reportedly there will be upwards of 200-400 college basketball coaches roaming the tournament sites. Let's hope my kid plays to her potential. Hey, if someone wants to offer up a scholarship for her to play ball, we'll not be turning our noses up, you know?

My week of solitude was fairly productive. Yesterday I turned a rather graphic, over-the-top sex scene into something completely readable and evocative. I paid attention in class.

The laptop is going with me on this trip, as are a couple of books I need to read. We'll see how much I get done between games. I think the WGH is looking forward to a little sightseeing while we're there if we can squeeze it in. If I can post from the road, I will. If not, I'll be back Wednesday.

Look for my interview with author Dana Cameron on July 31.

Read a book while I'm gone. It's good for you.

=) JB
