So, didja miss me?

Sorry I haven't been here for a few days. We've had a lot going on at our house. The trip to the 'Sip was fun. Even though our little team didn't win a single game, they played four terrific second halves. I was proud of my kid. Not many 6'4" girls can beat everybody else down the floor. That's something her coach thinks will get her noticed. Keep your fingers crossed. The really BIG exposure tournament is coming up in a couple weeks.

Last night The Boy and I went up to meet their new band director. I'm thrilled to say that my son is kinda excited about band again. We really, really like the new guy, and we're looking forward to what he's going to do for the program. Band camp is next week (whoa - short notice, but that's okay), as is volleyball camp for the Tall One, and Little Bit is going to stay with my parents in Indy for the week.

Gasp.

Except for the WGH's day off, I'm going to be by myself. S'pose that means I can get some writing done???

Did I mention that JT and I had a loooooonnggg talk about the WIP and we're going to completely rework the thing? The plot isn't changing but the dynamic is. More on that later. Right now I have a newsletter to put together. By noon. It's 9:30. Sigh.
