Problem Child over at the Writing Playground is leaving on a jet plane, going to Scotland and Ireland for a family wedding. Wow. I wanted to leave her good wishes, so I looked up how to say "have a wonderful time" in Gaelic (iontach am, in case you're interested). You gotta love the Internet. You can find all kinds of cool stuff there.
For kicks I did a search for a Scots Gaelic dictionary or list of terms. My main series character, Jack MacAnder, is of Scottish descent, although I completely screwed that up in the first two books. Sigh. Live and learn. He is also not part of the current WIP, hence the title of this post. The NaNoWriMo book/draft I mentioned a couple of days ago is what will probably be the fourth (and possibly final) installment in the Jack series. I bookmarked the page I found so that I could refer to it again. Later. When I get to that item on my to-do list.
The Tall One is at the beginning of basketball team camp month, and today the WGH was gracious enough to spend his day off playing bus driver (in The Tall One's Explorer) to someplace about three hours southwest of here. They were up at quarter to six. Unfortunately, so was I. So I'm on early this morning, haven't had my walk yet but have had my cup of coffee. Today's forecast is going to be pretty much a repeat of yesterday (mostly sunny, high 82). It's gonna be a great day.
Hop over to Murderati and see what Deni Deitz said that made me laugh at six in the morning. It's always nice to start your day on an up note.
Read a book. It's good for you!
=) JB

Tuluch arch.
Good post this morning. Sometimes tangents are what we need. With that in mind, go check your email.
The email tangent was so long, I'm only getting these comments opened now.
