The Coolest Thing Ever

Okay, so it's at least in the top 10. Rob Browne over at Murderati, along with the incomparable Sarah Weinman and a bunch of other really great folks, have done the coolest thing - it's called a "progressive interview". What a fantastic concept!

This is being done to mark the release of Killer Year member Gregg Olsen's second novel, A COLD DARK PLACE, and it kicks off from Gregg's blog, CrimeRant. He answers a question there, then puts a link to the next blog, where he answers a question, then there's a link to the next blog ... you get the idea. There are something like 11 blogs participating and it's just the coolest thing I've seen in a long time - a great way to promote the book, the author, and all the blogs and their authors ... this is networking at its level best, class, so pay attention.

So it starts on CrimeRant (click here) and links around - although I think there might be a glitch along the way somewhere (i.e. a missing link), so be sure to go to the CrimeRant list of all the participating blogs. Again, this is a great idea, and I'm here to say I wish I'd either a) thought of it; or b) been involved.

Next time, I'm on the list, guys, okay?

I'm playing ketchup again while things are fairly quiet. More later.

In the meantime, read a book - you know it's good for you!
