The to-do list has gotten out of hand again, so my "day off" is, of course, going to be a busy one. Mostly I'll be here, with my face glued to my computer screen, as I have the honor and privilege of reading the latest draft of the second book by a friend from our Sisters in Crime group. I've been promising her for weeks (months, probably) that I'd read it and give her my opinion, and I've been at it in bits and pieces while I've been working on my own. Today she's top of my list.
My Wonder Twin has put up an absolutely fabulous post over at Murderati today. If you've ever wondered why real-life murder cases fascinate us writers so much, go here and find out - she mentions a cold case that's near and dear to the hearts of Nashville. Heartwrenching stuff.
