There is a green star on my dry-erase calendar for next Wednesday, January 10th.
That's our next BMWs meeting, and the next time I will see JT face-to-face. She has given me until then to have the edits finished, the synopsis nailed down, and the query letter ready to proof and mail. We are so, so, so very close - we have the hook, the title, and the plot summary. The book is written. All we're lacking as of this moment is a bit of spit and polish.
It's the beginning of a new year, with new goals and new motivation.
Fasten your seatbelts, folks, 'cause we're about to snag a seat on the roller coaster!
