Distractions

Today is the last day of Spring Break, and it's going to be a Harry Potter movie marathon day for the kids and me. Confession - I'm an HP junkie. All six books are sitting on my bookshelf and all four movies are in the DVD rack. It's not just the whole phenomenon, really. I read the books with a writer's eye, and J.K. Rowling just flat knows what she's doing. The WGH is not into Harry Potter. Rolls his eyes and everything. I respond in a very mature manner by sticking my tongue out at him. Thought for the day: "A person who has not done one half his day's work by ten o'clock, runs a chance of leaving the other half undone." (Emily Bronte) I made one New Year's resolution this year - to read one book per week for the entire year. It's turning into averaging one book per week, and I'm getting off track a bit but catching up. There are lots of good books out there. Go read one. =) JB
